I'm going to run tomorrow!

I'm going to run tomorrow! I'm going to run tomorrow! I'm going to run tomorrow!

I'm hoping that more times I say this, the more likely it's going to happen.
This (Temple Run) is sadly the only "running" I've done.
Between looking for a job and hanging out with college friends for one last time, I've somehow not gone on a run in more than a month.
I was busy doing things like the "day drink," which is exactly what it sounds like.
Even though, to be honest, it was nice to not exercise, it's time for me to get my butt off the ground and start hitting the pavement.

I'm seriously considering signing up for Reach the Beach Marathon on December 1, 2012. Hopefully even the south would have cooled down by then and it'll be ideal for running. This would also let me cross off my New Year's Resolution of running a marathon this year. I'll keep you guys posted on what I decide.

I will probably see what it's like to run in Louisiana before making the decision. I've never been a good hot weather runner. I will get used to it, right?

Thanks you guys for blogging about your running! It's making me want to go on a run myself. Does anyone know bloggers in the Baton Rouge area?

Quick recap on my life

I actually said something about this last night in the other post, which is now deleted. Sorry Unexpected Runner for making you read that post, but thanks for the great wishes!

So the most important things that have happend in my life was that  . .

1. I got a job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. (So scary to write that out).

2. I graduated and received my piece of paper worth $200,000!
It still hasn't hit me yet.
3. I ended up not making it to the Run for the Red Marathon. After the job search craziness and the whole hip thing, I just didn't make enough time to prepare. (Fun fact: The girl in the hat in the above picture ran a marathon under four hours after three months off due to an injury and her longest run having been about 16 miles)

Now, I'm trying to get back into the running thing and learning to drive, which both scares me. Can you believe that I'm still scared of driving? But I haven't really driven since I was sixteen and I never got over that fear.

What have you guys been up to? I'm going to start marathon blog reading really soon!

Edit: No I will not be moving from this blog

Last night, I had a post up that said that I will be moving from this site. But I had some friends who opposed the move. And since they were my running friends in college who wanted to keep in touch with me, I decided to switch back! I'm sorry! I don't mean to be so flip flop. But even at the age of 22, I'm still ruled by what my friends think.
